Guide to Overlaps

An Overlap occurs when specific details of two, normally separate, realities are the same, allowing someone or something to travel through from one to the next.

These occur naturally through coincidences, but can be created by purposely setting up certain scenarios to create a doorway to a chosen reality.

Passing through an overlap can be split into two distinct steps:

  • New Reality: the physical act of stepping through the overlap and into a new place
  • New Perspective: Upon entering a new reality, you will take the place of your counterpart within the new reality (if one exists). It may take a while for your brain to become in sync with this new version, complete with new memories & new experiences. Often this can cause your old memories to be suppressed as you embody the new perspective. To counteract this, the Organisation recommends always having access to ‘Stabilizer Tonic’ if you plan on travelling.
